Safir Soeparna is Your Soon-to-be Bestfriend:
An Augmented Friendship Project

What on earth is Augmented Friendship?
Augmented frienship is a creative thinking that superimposes a more meaningful friendship on an individual's view of the human's connection, thus providing a composite camaraderie. Augmented frienship works greatly for those who travel around new places and often meet new strangers (read: the soon-to-be friends). Solo traveler/backpacker trotting around the globe, for example, often cross path with a fellow traveler or a local who carries a bag of inspiration or sparks a wonderful energy that makes us think "why don't I have a friend like him back home?" The concept of augmented friendship appears to seize such a moment.

How does this project work?
Some say augmented friendship is just a matter of creative introduction of yourself to a stranger - creative enough to make that stranger hooked to you. This project, however, takes step a bit further. It departs from the idea that there are always a story that person share to differentiate himself from the rest of human beings on the earth. Some call it the social unique selling points. Departing from the idea, this project crafts an augmented friendship by packaging someone's social unique selling points in a form of collectible cards. The augmented friendship creator will give a stranger one each of the collectible cards once that stranger hears the story represented in each card. Each card dispersal therefore represents the notion that the "stranger" is getting closer to be a friend. At the end of the day, the rewards will be given to those who has collected all the cards (read: those who have heard signifying personal stories the creator has opened up).
