The front and back cover are inversion of each other. This idea was inspired by what Christian Schwartz said about the features of Stag Typeface which he's tried to design the negative space between words and letters as interesting as the positive black space.

The dimension of the specimen book is driven from the proportion of each slab. Perhaps all the serifs of all letters are not in the same size but in average we can see a 1:3 ratio between the letters' slab serifs and then the book's page size is 3.5 by 10.5 inches.
