Handmade Package Design
for Julius Meinl
This project was one of the most challenging for me.
When I was asked to think over a tea package design in the concept of poetic
Julius Meinl brand, I realised that the slogan "JM inspires since 1862."really doesn`t lie!
Am a very crafty person, so for bringing the touch of art to the package,
I decided to paint with watercolor some motives to form from them patterns afterwards.
So there is a work photo above and the photoshop compilation on the next picture.
As we have many great tea blends in JM portfolio I had to think over how to distinguish each of them though keeping the sence of togetherness of the whole product family. So there were 2 options I have seen for that moment: developing new patterns and playing with the colours.

This was the first solution for this package. But I didn`t want to stop there.
As the company has a huge history we have some patterns that were already used in the package design. I have redrawn one of them using illustrator and my wacom tablet to apply this replica to my work.
