CHOSEN CANDIDATE FOR JURIED STUDENT EXHIBITION
For this school project I was to design a magazine layout for a fictitious magazine called Mangajin. Mangajin is a monthly magazine that covers various elements of the anime, manga, and cosplay. To stand out from other magazines that covers the same topic many of its images are hand drawn. I was to create a front cover, table of contents page, an ad section, main feature spread, two other inside articles/spreads, and a back cover. “Mangajin” is a cross cultural play on words as it sounds like “magazine” in English but can translate in Japanese to “graphic novel person.”
