Mermaid - 3D model
The task I needed to complete was a 3D model of a mermaid (similar to Ariel as much as possible but not the same). Requirements were that the model is off high detail and ready for 3D printing.
First time doing any kind of character in 3Ds Max. It was an extremely important project for me cuz I'm new to character modeling and rigging and by doing this project I learned a lot, especialy when using rigs - in this case, CAT Rig.
The mermaid is made out of 71488 faces - probably too much for this kind of a model, but bare with me it's my first ever character model. It took me about 20+ hours in the course of couple of days to complete it.
