Design Thinking Toolkit

Bring design thinking with you wherever you go.
The toolkit aims to make practising design thinking accessible at any time and anywhere.
42 Method and Process cards to guide users through the design thinking process.
Our very first prototype of the toolkit is made of a box which held the different elements needed to run a design thinking session. We quickly realized that it wasn't very portable, and that users were overwhelmed by the content and did not know where to begin. We realized that our challenge was to create a toolkit that is both agile and intuitive.
Our second prototype had clear instructions that users can take in at a glance. It was flat and hence very portable.
After testing this layout with several physical prototypes, we figured: how about turning this into a bag? And so the design of the toolkit was born.
One of the main design consideration was how can users make sense of a large quantity of instructions and lessons without being overwhelmed? We answered this by designing pockets on the front and a unique card indexing system. The pockets are structured to flow with the usage of the tookit and are easy to organize.
A handy tool pocket is designed on the back to hold tools like Sharpies and Post-its (included).

Grommet and stitching detailing. The grommets are designed for users to conveniently hang their toolkits up.
Each toolkit is carefully silkscreened by hand.
