Cross-section photography is always something that has appealed to me. 
This is a commissioned project for waiting room photographs in the radiology department in Kettering General Hospital.
Radiology, which uses a variety of imaging techniques such as CT scans and MRIs, produce tomographic images, or virtual 'slices', of specific areas of the human body.
The client thought it would be interesting to portray this in a more artistic way through the use of fruit and vegetables.
