While depicting geometric perfection found in natural elements, the brand identity for Iraa draws inspiration from sacred geometry as seen abundantly in nature, specifically in a flower. The floral symbol denotes radiance, beauty and perfection. In spiritual terms, the flower reflects ‘Samadhi’ or Zen. In ancient Indian texts such as the Rig Veda, the pattern, known as a mandala is composed
of 72 petals which come together in symmetry to represent a 'Zen' state-of-mind.

Considering Iraa stands at the intersection of nature and science, the design strategy entailed developing a scientifically-driven, clinical and yet, a contemporary and sophisticated feel for the brand. To this end, the design team at Gasoline adopted a clean and minimalist typographic approach.
Taking the depth of the cosmetic range into consideration, care was taken to create
demarcation between the sub-brands with the use of a single dominant colour and the use of bold descriptors which spelled out the product ingredients, thereby distinguishing one product from the other
while still constituting a part of a range.
