Designing better public WiFi experience

airfy is a young and ambitious Berlin startup, focused on bringing better WiFi experience to public spaces, as well as your home and bringing you better smart home experience with iBeacon-enabled WiFi hub as well as series of beacons that make different IoT devices talk to each other using a common protocol. I joined forces with airfy to help “mature” the brand and focus on delivering the best experience possible.
First part of the project was working on touching up the company's current branding. I worked with touching up the symbol and designing a custom, hand written typography for the new logo.
Based on new logo, we've designed new product packaging as well as marketing materials for customers and airfy to promote public WiFi. The specifics of the market required creating a bunch of stickers as well as table top flyers that clients could put in their venues to announce they have public WiFi hotspot available.
To match the new branding, we created a new, responsive web design based on the new logo and colours. I worked on concept, design as well as execution (HTML, CSS code) with the developers.
A while ago, airfy decided to venture into smart home space revolving around the iBeacon-enabled WiFi hotspot. That required a bunch of product renderings for the beacon itself, as well as a new iBeacon mobile (iOS) app.
