As part of our coursework, we had to imagine and design a compote brand inspired by "Charles et Alice.
The instructions were to create the packaging for a no-added-sugar compote brand for children, to develop a unique brand identity, and to design impactful packaging.

I decided to create a brand of handmade compote, following a traditional and old recipe. To diversify the ingredients found in a compote, I chose the apple and vanilla flavor.

Apple for its old-fashioned aspect and respect for the compote tradition.
Vanilla for its sweet taste, its well-known aroma appreciated by both children and parents, and which remains a classic.

Among the three proposed logo names, I chose "Les Compotistes" because it well reflects the childlike aspect I want to give to my brand, while also having a play on words that parents will understand. After several typographic logo trials, I selected the one I liked the most and which best matched what I was looking for: a logo that is soft, round, childlike yet elegant.

Inspired by Feefal's style, Manon is the mascot of my brand. Her textured skin resembles that of an apple, and her vanilla flower hat indicates the flavor of the compote to consumers. Her outfit gives the brand a rustic and artisanal feel.
Her cartoon design appeals to both children and adults.
