Khas Halal Khana(KHK) is a popular restaurant in Brampton West, Ontario, known for its delicious Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian dishes. The restaurant offers a luxurious setting with a modern touch.
The key problem was to design a logo that represented the restaurant's cultural depth and outstanding food in a simple but attractive manner.
Objective: The goal was to create a logo that reflects America First Capital's commitment to supporting the development and value of middle-market businesses while also expressing its American heritage and regional emphasis.
Process: The design process began with researching traditional symbols and design elements from Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian art. Sketches were created to explore various concepts that included motifs and color schemes that are typical of these regions. After several iterations and feedback, a design that best represented the restaurant’s ethos was refined.
Solution: The final logo design features a stylized frying pan with a classic chef's hat, which represents the culinary arts. The color scheme includes warm tones of yellow and brown, which are inviting and associated with spices and flavors typical of the restaurant’s cuisine.
The logo is paired with a modern yet elegant typeface to reflect the contemporary comfort of the restaurant's ambiance. This combination captures the essence of Khas Halal Khana as a place where tradition meets modern dining.
