Branding one of Quebec's first kombucha products
Fous de l’Île brews organic craft kombucha in Montreal. Like other fermented beverages, kombucha has wide-ranging and complex taste profiles and qualities. We worked with Fous de l’Île’s founder from the beginning to create a brand that pushes past perceptions of kombucha as a health beverage and celebrates its epicurean potential.
The brand was named to celebrate its cultural heritage and the visual identity designed to embody the easygoing acumen of the bon vivant, while maintaining a broad, popular appeal. Custom bottles were designed to have simple, iconic forms, easily recognizable on the shelf, and wide openings to allow for a full sensual experience, since smell accounts for much of our sense of taste.
