For this assignment compositions were made using justified paragraphs. To create an interesting composition with only paragraphs type color was used. Different typefaces, sizes, and spacing was used to create the different type colors.
For this assignment I started with playing around with overlapping and the size of the text but then started playing more with the use of white space. The type faces used were Futura (It is a geometric san-serif. It was made by Paul Renner in 1927. It was designed to contribute to the new Frankfurt-project.), Clarendon (This font is a Slab Serif style font. This font was created in 1845 by Robert Besley. It was created as a metal typeface for a foundry in England.), Fette Fraktur (It is a blackletter font. Johann Christian Bauer in the 1800s. This font was developed for the use of advertising.), Mrs. Eaves (It is a transitional serif typeface. It was designed by Zuzana Licko in 1996 to show off the new printing and paper making techniques of his time.), and Bembo (Old style humanist typeface. Designed by Francesco Griffo in 1495 for a book).
