The Mexican Soccer Federation made a contest in 2008 to design the Trophy for the league. Inspired by the words: Mexico, soccer, and victory, we designed a trophy based on the eagle warrior; a symbol of the mexican aztec culture that had to fight for honor, justice and to defend his people.

Among 4209 participants we managed to put our 3 proposals in the final round of 10 and went forward with this option that was voted by TV, Internet and phone numbers by the public.
