"Respawn" is a space for military personnel in the frontline city of Kramatorsk,
where they can relax and find necessary items and services.
Respawn has two main halls, each displaying its unique function and atmosphere.
In the first hall, guests can have coffee or a snack and relax in the lounge area. Visitors can also experience a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
In the second hall, located to the left, there are racks with clothing and footwear where servicemen can conveniently choose the necessary items for duty. In the center of the hall, there is an island for military equipment accompanied by a hanging art installation reflecting the dynamics and strength of our heroes. To the right of the center, there is a massage area as well as a place for a tattoo artist, where you can bring your coolest ideas to life. To the far right, there is a fitting room and a illuminated rack for exclusive items.
LOCATION
CONCEPT
Every corner of "Respawn" is infused with the spirit of military strength. Deep anthracite walls and furniture create an impression of durability and solidity, while vibrant yellow, like patches of light on a military uniform, adds energy and a fighting spirit. Khaki gives the room a military style and a sense of brotherhood atmosphere.
Every detail of the interior, whether it's a table with worn edges or a hanging tent, has its own story, telling of bravery and courage. This is a place where every shade and texture recreate military themes, creating a sense of readiness for action and great achievements.
CHALLENGES
The project was developed taking into account constraints on materials due to the complex logistics to Kramatorsk. We also considered that it was impossible to involve narrow-profile specialists. Therefore, we focused on ideas that were maximally simple to implement and used available materials.
The majority of the furniture was welded from metal and assembled from crates of ammunition. Instead of standard curtains, we used old military tents that were no longer suitable for use. This allowed us to create a special atmosphere that emphasizes the specificity of the space and its purpose
