The project above is a digital painting project for my Raster Graphics Class. The objective of the project was to create a digital painted image using a photo taken by each student. We are required to take pixels from the original photo and use them to create this piece. By the end of the painting it should look almost exactly like the picture but in a painting.

For this assignment, I decided to use a photo of a team leader at my church. I started with the eyes, and then built around them. I used a soft brush for the entire thing to give it a more realistic painting feel. This project took a really long time, but it was worth it because every detail counts.
