Revolutionising Driver's Experience with Research

This Noida-based company understands the challenges of the last mile, having transformed the delivery logistics for the world's largest brands for nearly a decade. The last mile is the most critical, complicated, and costly aspect of the delivery journey, requiring specialist expertise.

During my tenure as a valuable member of the design team at this rapidly growing logistics company, we departed from the aggregator model like Delhivery. Our unique approach empowered businesses with tools to manage their distinct delivery requirements. Operating with proprietary delivery management software, we collaborated with a dedicated network of third-party drivers, navigating major global hubs for deliveries to warehouses and various locations. The drivers utilised multiple apps for tasks such as receiving and completing deliveries, tracking earnings, booking time slots, and communicating.

Upon joining in June 2020, it became evident that the existing driver app needed a significant overhaul. The native Android app had evolved through a patchwork of hastily prototyped features, tested and implemented by various external collaborators. By the time I was assigned to the project, the app needed more stability and bug fixes, falling short of facilitating smooth delivery operations and causing frustration for the drivers.

This presented a golden opportunity for a much-needed upgrade!
