2022 | Thirst Trap Series

"I mean you can always ask someone to take your trap photos but who doesn’t love clicking a good mirror selfie?

In my professional experience, Zara dressing rooms and gym bathrooms are few of the best places to take thirsty pix. The lighting is diffused so your skin looks clear but it is also dramatic enough to conceal your imperfections.

The location is very important, as is what – or how much – you are wearing. I usually go for the classic pose. It is the safest in my opinion. The trick is in the angles. Stand sideways. Push your butt out. Twist your body slightly towards the camera from the waist above. Remember to pop out one of your legs. Thigh gap is everything. Crop or somewhat conceal your face behind the camera so you don’t have to worry about how that looks like as well. I usually crop my photos above the knee or stand behind the basin so no one knows how short I actually am. I also make sure the lighting cuts my bicep and abdomen to make it look like I work out, which I aggressively don’t. Or you could just ask some gym bro to stand next to you.”
