‘Tallest Strongest Bestest’ is project that I love dearly and that is very personal to me as a parent. This shoot is a playful celebration of kids' maximalism and an ode to the beauty of free play. As a mother of a 7 year old, it always fascinates me how maximalist most children are. My son wants to run the fastest, jump the highest, grow the tallest, he wants to get the world's biggest ice cream cone ever and for his clothes to be the most colourful and sparkly. So I wanted to create a story about the little ones setting these imaginary ‘world records’, from the world's tallest sandwich to the longest time spent upside down. Fun fact: image 6 is my son Leon's debut as a model!
