COMPLETING THE URBAN BLOCK - HOUSING KLÁROV
ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM, BACHELOR PROJECT
Here, I am eager to present to you my bachelor's thesis, which stands as the culmination of my university journey - a whole project of the building located in the heart of Prague's Malostranská Town.
The project comprised of 7 parts:
⭐️ Designing the plan and drafting the building layout
⭐️ Construction aspect - resolving materials and detailing
⭐️ Structural analysis - meticulously calculating all frameworks
⭐️ Fire safety segment
⭐️ Electrical and plumbing
⭐️ Determining the construction methodology
⭐️ Interior
The building is designed as a multifunctional residential building for temporary housing for diplomats coming to Prague on business trips. Multi-functional apartment house is divided into 2 parts, connected by a communication system. The facades face Kosarkovo nábřeží Street and the Vltava River.
On the one side, the building is connected to the existing building. Multifunctional building has the main purpose - housing, not excluding the ground floor. The ground floor consists of a private area with a reception and entrance to the main communication core, a cafe for the public and facilities for guarding the garages of the Straka Academy.
