Nightlife 3D Logos (DJs & Entertainment)

While not everyone agrees with or cares for the 3D logo, they are extremely popular throughout DJ culture.  Ranging from the straightforward to the imaginative, here are several examples.
A logo for a West Coast based entertainment / promotions company.  All based off of an existing font family.
A "short" DJ logo, based on the logo before.  Turntable platter imagery and gleaming metal.
Having fun with Helvetica and Avant Garde.
I'm not sure if the client appreciated the subtlety of hard rubber and plastic instead of chrome and metal looks.  Put together some stock imagery and existing fonts.
Though my personal affiliiation with this remix website is over, I was very happy with this finished product.  Heavily modified stock and existing fonts.
"Live wire" concept to go with the DJs name.  Existing font after a sketched idea.
Handmade font and turntable platter dots.
Handmade font and moving blocks.
Flames and turntable dots
Pyramids / future technology to associate with the DJs Aztec / Maya heritage.
Knob, push button, fader and screws to evoke imagery of a mixer.
Finished product of the sketch below.
This DJ had an existing idea of DJing = timing.
