Kabaddi
Kabaddi is a contact team sport played between two teams of seven players, originating from ancient India. The main objective of the game is for a single player to run into the opposing team’s half of the court and touch out as many of their players as possible and return without being tackled by the defenders. We were tasked by the TV network Star Sports India to develop a visual branding packaging for the channels’ broadcasts of the Pro Kabaddi League games.
TV Broadcast Branding
We designed and animated bugs, transitions, player & game statistics screens, under the same visual identity umbrella. We developed an electric visual approach that reflected the dynamism of the sport, incorporating explosive hues that infused the overall look and feel with a heightened adrenaline-pumping atmosphere, similar to the emotions felt on the court and in the audience stands.
