eQuota
eQuota is a Berlin based digital startup. In addition to helping with formal procedures, they market the CO2 savings generated from using renewable fuels within the legally required greenhouse gas reduction quota (GHG quota). Besides that, they provide services related to a successful marketing strategy, attractive additional revenues with minimal effort for handling the required processes to their customers.
Consistent and
customizable system
We have designed eQuota, a digital transformation project, from end-to-end with a new approach. Then, we have planned a long-term project to add new functions needed by different user journeys and to ensure a consistent experience. Our main goal was to design a system where all products can be easily used and customized by is logged in from one platform.
During the project, we have had a long-term process in which we have prepared user experience designs and interface designs by discussing with the eQuota team. It was a pleasant, collaborative project where we made mutual suggestions as a team.

An understandable and
comprehensive process
with legal foundations
In the user experience, we have adhered to the German regulation and legal foundations. We have worked on the interaction of the product with users and stakeholders at every level. In short, we focused on the intelligibility of new designs. Emphasizing the comprehensibility of the new designs, we aimed for the user to be able to use the product independently by analyzing its scope in-depth.
UX Audit
We have prepared envisaged user journeys in the product and draw a roadmap for improving the product. After, we have examined the rate at which users can complete and understand the functions in the interface. We compared the consistency of results with the eQuota team's business goals. In the end, we have offered the best usage suggestions with expert opinion.
The experience of using
different functions on
a single platform
The most important goal of starting from scratch or redesign stages at eQuota was to combine all product functions. In the Management and Trading sections, which are the main product of the platform, we aimed to enable the user to make specialized operations for the company. We worked on gaining time by uploading documents to the platform easily with the Doc-Read feature. We have made a design in the Administrator section where the product settings can be managed and the product can be personalized.
Design System & Prototyping
We shared all design elements with eQuota through a regular documentation.
In short, we defined elements such as buttons, colors, typography for the platform. Before development, we created a realistic and interactive experience with the prototype to demonstrate the use of the product.
