Simply being alive is, in some sense, intense for most beings. Experiencing all of the different forms of loss throughout life—physical death, fading relationships, or letting go of those that no longer support your growth.
Being alive and being human, you lose everything in your life.
There is a constant process of healing occurring; we are constantly being wounded and experiencing the knocks of both life and nature, and, as such, have the need to perpetually repair and mend ourselves. Our bodies and our spirits are so fragile, and, at the same time, so resilient. We are somehow caught in this web of double-infinity.
The image of The Veil depicts the inescapable weight we all inevitably carry, all while inspiring us to keep showing up. Similar to the nesting sets, it reminds us of the great cycle we all traverse together, with life and loss perpetually intertwined, a life thread that links us to both our past and our future.
In a world filled with turmoil, we can somehow find solace in creating—creating life, creating art, and enjoying the privilege of moving our bodies freely.

Thanks infinitely to my model and ethereal goddess @hannahjaneshoe for making this concept come to life
