Flamboyant funfair-fest
My roots in event-design go back. Way back. It can be a lot of fun and it is to be a bit more expressive visually than usual. Once in a while I take on a personal job that is fun in one way or another. With this one, I wanted to boost my 3D modelling skills.
The assignment was clear; create artwork, social templates and stage-decoration design with a fun-fair theme for an event that is all about those guilty pleasures.
Over the last few years I have been experimenting with Cinema4D. There is SO much to learn, and I learn the best if I put it into practice right away. Because the pandemic hit, I had plenty of time to iterate and design. From modelling to rendering with Octane. It is not perfect by a long shot, but I think it radiates fun. 3D is such a powerful tool. I can't wait to see what's next!
