I love designing logos...
But more importantly, I love the process involved in coming up with the 'right' logo.
It's not just about making a pretty picture and slapping a line of text in Meta or Cooper Black under it (or next to it) but you already knew that. ;-)
Apple Agency (http://www.apple.co.uk) is an illustration agency in the UK.
I was asked around 2001 to come up with a new brand for the business. I won't tell you (yet) which one they chose. Instead, I'd like to you take a guess and let me know. ;-)
Logo work-ups for Evil Machines, a game-design studio in Glasgow, Scotland.
Fairy-Tooth. (in-house project) Began as an illustration for my then girlfriend, possibly the only dentist on the planet who LOVES her job. ;-) evolved into t-shirt and embroidered badge designs for dental surgery staff.
Began as a window display for Villeneuve Wines, one of Scotland's best fine wine merchants and became a philosophy, a mantra, even a quasi-religion for the wine-loving cognoscenti of Edinburgh and beyond.
Logo for 'Eclectic' - a LBGBT night at Melbourne's Laundry nightclub (whose logo I also designed)
