This zine takes us on a tale of growth, self discovery and cultural evolution through the lone wildflower's trials and tribulations in Fitzroy, Melbourne. The zine is inspired by the weeds that grow from the cracks on the pavement. In Singaporean context, weeds are seen as a nuisance are always taken out to provide a clean, cookie-cutter facade. "Take Root" expresses an optimistic message of growth in an environment that supports freedom of expression.
