The GFS Local Food Show is a venue for all Gordon Food Service vendors to strut their stuff when it comes to their products. Vendors that specialize in everything from Plastic utensils to maple syrup can be found at these shows. My colleague and I were responsible for this first show on behalf of Arla Foods Inc., which aimed to put emphasis on local food. So we featured food that originated here in Ontario farms and were alsom made and packaged here in Ontario. Our theme incorporated antique farming equipment, a burger bar and LOTS of cheese. 

 

Business had increased after this show, and since this first show, my colleague and I now attend at least three shows for national foodservice companies annually.
