Rencontré et immortalisé au parcours de Santé de la Pointe, au Tampon (Ile de La Réunion). Légèrement farouche, il s'est quand même laissé approcher. Il ne semblait pas dérangé plus que ça par ma présence, tant que je restais à distance.
Met and immortalized at the parcours de Santé de la Pointe, in Le Tampon (Reunion Island). Slightly shy, he nonetheless allowed himself to be approached. He didn't seem much bothered by my presence, as long as I kept my distance.
Sur cette seconde photo, il s'était lassé de me regarder le photographier. Je m'étais surtout trop approché à son goût. Pas une raison suffisante pour paniquer. Il s'est tranquillement levé pour s'éloigner, mais il s'est laissé distraire par les oiseaux dont il avait entendu les chants.
In this second photo, he had grown tired of watching me photograph him. Mostly, I'd gotten too close for his taste. Not reason enough to panic. He quietly got up to walk away, but was distracted by the birds he'd heard singing.
Rencontré et immortalisé au Belvédère de Bois-Court, au Tampon (Ile de La Réunion). Vagabond, abîmé, mais futé et un peu comédien. Pour survivre, il faut bien ! Il ne faut pas se fier à son regard sévère, il approchait avec talent tous les passants pour quémander nourriture et affection.
