I was tasked with creating an infographic illustrating a 5-step process without relying on text. The goal was to use my knowledge of simple illustration design and layout in order to communicate each step of a process.

I was inspired by the holiday season to create an infographic that was related to Christmas. I thought about the different Christmas traditions my family had while growing up and was reminded of the simmer pots my mother makes during this time of year.
I envisioned this infographic being present in a grocery store where holiday shoppers are able to take the infographic home and create their own simmer pot. By placing this infographic in a grocery store, shoppers who are interested in making a simmer pot have an opportunity to shop for their ingredients while they're already out shopping.
