"C'era una volta un re..."

This is an illustration made for a contest by "Le Vanvere" the theme was "Raccontami" ("Tell me"). The illustration was selected and shown at the Ludicomix 2023 in Empoli.

The illustration is based on an Italian nursery rhyme. Its point was the evergoing repetition, just like a matrioshka, of the same lines.

C'era una volta un Re
seduto sul sofà
che disse alla sua serva
raccontami una storia
e la serva incominciò:
