Monoblock is a stationery and home goods brand based in Buenos Aires. It was stablished in 2011 and since then it's a synonym of good design for designers and creatives all around Latin America. The brand is known for its colorful and playfully-designed items. I was invited by their founders Pablo Galuppo and Vik Arrieta to collaborate in a collection of sketchbooks with a clean and simple look.
Since I started drawing on paper I always choose paper that looks warm or off white. Clean white paper makes me think on printers and feels cold and to me, it feels off putting. I always liked sketchbooks that look classic, clean and carry color only on their covers. This collection of objects carry works of mine on their covers. The drawings selected are an exploration on the creative universe, ideas thought through a constant, curious and optimistic act of imagination. These hands make, and with a little bit of lucky, inspire.
