Grand Mess
Grand Mess is a hospitality project from the Mess Family, owners of several renowned restaurants in France. For the opening of their new venture, we teamed up with JD Motion Agency to craft an animated piece for their website and social media channels.
The illustration
Created by the talented Sophia Babari, we transformed this hand-drawn artwork into a lively animation. It's a dynamic and living story that embodies the spirit of Grand Mess, filled with intricate details and nods to popular culture.
The animation
We collaborated closely with Sophia, using various techniques like rotoscoping, real-life referencing, and frame-by-frame animation. The result is a seamlessly looping sequence that captures the essence of Grand Mess: a lively place where people gather to celebrate life.
