Stanley Black & Decker's Hampstead manufacturing facility won two internal corporate awards, and their HR department wanted a way to celebrate, and commend their employees of that facility for all their hard work.

 

This project was created as a 120" x 48" banner to be displayed during a celebration event they had.

The primary focus of this projet was the Type treatment; how to convey two awards with text. Below are some of the ideas I explored.

At one point I introduced illustrative elements into the project, to picture an actual award on the banner.  The client decided that it would be better as strictly typography though, with all the company brands incorporated.

This is the final banner that was printed on wallpaper and displayed for the event.
