Cloth and Chromatic Material Study
This is a collection of style frames and animation tests for a project that unfortunately never saw the light of day.
In my R&D I was looking to create a library of refractive materials that gave a sense of flow and continuity to whatever form they were applied to. This ranged from procedural-noise generated bump maps to stylized chromatic aberration.
These materials were applied to abstract cloth simulations where i explored the look both internally and externally of the simulated geometry.
