City Tote for DailyObjects - Ad film styling

Upon conducting comprehensive primary and secondary research on the aesthetics and cultures of each modern Indian metropolitan city for this project's art direction, I explored what the Indian youth wears to express themselves, the way hints of the cities they were brought up in are woven into their fashion choices.

The way the subtleties of an indie "grandpa core" sweater vest finds it's way into a calm Chandigarh boy's wardrobe to the loud hype graphics on a Mumbaikar's tee reflecting the bass-heavy hiphop and underground graffiti found in B-Town's streets. I explored the defining iconographies that represent today's Indian youth and incorporated these elements into a minimalist and clean yet vintage styling wardrobe in alignment with DailyObjects' visual identity.

This approach has enabled us to craft an impeccable and fluid storytelling experience, underscoring the deep emotional connection between the bag's owner and the distinctive narrative of the city they call home.
