Specialist in managing daily operations, maintenance, and administrative responsibilities of condominiums, CondoGuard approached us with an opportunity to improve its application ― which at the time had some usability issues and lacked a defined design pattern ―, to create a more efficient and enjoyable experience for the company’s users.
Our main challenge was to integrate development and design teams in just 30 days, while also coming up with proposals that would make a meaningful impact on users beyond just the visual.
Scope of work: UX/UI Design; analyze best market practices, improve friction points in the current journey, create color and element patterns and deliver a faithful version of the final application.
Age-friendly Digital Experiences
We discovered that elderly persons make up a sizable section of the condominium community; in fact, they frequently had the most problems accessing functionality inside the application. For this reason, one of our key goals was to help seniors incorporate modern tools into their daily lives. After all, CondoGuard ought to provide everyone with security, convenience, and speed in the majority of
residence-related administrative concerns.
In order to ensure that the information provided is logical and natural, we also created a standard terminology, taking into account the user's daily usage. Most importantly, because everything is now on the same page, it is easier to find the history of authorized accesses and who has been granted them.
