Enrico Attas's profile

Insert for KIVE Lamp package

For years I have been passionate about cardboard objects. In particular, objects that are assembled and disassembled.
I like to feel the sound of cardboard to the touch, hear its elasticity when I bend it and, when I cut it, its lament.

I made many "inserts" for many products that had to be protected and displayed inside their box. Perfumes and taps and bottles of wine and drinks, glasses and biscuits. I designed their tailor-made protection for all of them.

The project "Kosher Shabbat Lamp" is one of the latest arrivals on my table: composed of two twin wall lamps to be inserted in a very conventional box, and that at the time of opening the user appears in its neat and ready-to-use beauty.

For each shipment of 30 - 40 pieces, the customer makes the same number of inserts packs and ships them.
Having used the e-flute cardboard for folds were carried out with alternating cutting - perforation - this allowed to fold the insert leaving it intact. The customer saved the cost of the die-cut, production expenses and warehouse space.
