Faccio una passeggiata immaginaria nella mia città.

Palazzi e ville in costruzione. Il boschetto dall’altra parte della strada. Le automobili troppo veloci. L’erba che cresce ai bordi dei marciapiedi. Le piste ciclabili rovinate dalle radici degli alberi sotto l’asfalto. Il porticato in piazza, che mi ricorda il boschetto dietro casa.

Questo libro racconta una normale giornata in città, mia come di chiunque.

Il libro è diviso in tre sezioni:

IMG – Questa sezione contiene una serie di immagini ordinate secondo un criterio associativo prettamente visivo. Il rapporto tra Natura e Artificio viene analizzato attraverso fotografie, illustrazioni, dipinti, frame di film.

TXT – La seconda sezione raccoglie una serie di testi, tra cui estratti di libri e articoli di giornale, che riguardano i temi della ricerca.

NAV – L’ultima sezione è un regesto delle immagini del libro, non nell’ordine in cui vengono esposte nel libro, ma divise in 4 gruppi: “L’Architettura sovrasta la Natura”, “La Natura cresce sull’Architettura”, “L’Architettura emula la Natura”, “La Natura somiglia all’Architettura”.

Questa ricerca indaga il rapporto tra il mondo artificiale e quello naturale: simbiosi.

I take an imaginary walk in my city.

Buildings and villas under construction. The grove across the street. The speeding cars. The grass growing at the edges of the pavements. The bike lanes ruined by tree roots under the asphalt. The arcade in the square, which reminds me of the grove behind my house.

This book describes an ordinary day in the city, mine as much as anyone's.

The book is divided into three sections:

IMG – This section contains a series of images arranged according to a purely visual associative criterion. The relationship between Nature and Artifice is analysed through photographs, illustrations, paintings, film frames.

TXT – The second section contains a series of texts, including excerpts from books and newspaper articles, that relate to the themes of the research.

NAV – The last section is a record of the book's images, not in the order in which they are displayed in the book, but divided into 4 groups: "Architecture towers over Nature", "Nature grows on Architecture", "Architecture emulates Nature", "Nature resembles Architecture".

This research investigates the relationship between the artificial and natural worlds: symbiosis.
