Uncovering Union City
Illustrated with rich colors and a playful narrative, this mural tells the story of how the Mesozoic dinosaur exhibits from Discovery Park come to life and step out to explore. At Reelfoot Lake, they see a bald eagle swooping down to assist a fisherman surrounded with majestic cypress trees and fellow campers. Music heard out on the lake flows from the historic Capitol Theatre located in the heart of downtown, while one of the museum planes flies overhead. Inspired by the local landmarks, this rendering reveals Union City as a destination filled with natural wonder, history and scientific discovery.
