Wonder Woman on Paradise Island

OK so it took a bit longer than I would have hoped, but here she is!
Di naw naw naw naw naw naw Wonder Woman!!
You'll be humming it all day long now, sorry!
You may have seen the 2D version that I did as a concept for this....in which case you will also have noticed that she has changed a little bit. Most notably the hair has changed from being long and down to being up. I decided to do this to make her feel a bit more like a 1940's Land Girl and less like an ancient Greek goddess.
I also had to soften the angles on the face, some things work in 2D that don't translate into 3D! I knew that there would be some adaptation involved but hopefully I have managed to retain the 'character' of the concept.

I made this Wonder Woman to fit into the same universe as my previous Superman model.
As with that project I wanted this image to evoke a feeling of nostalgia and warmth.
The backdrop is simple and minimal so that the character is the main focus.

Wonder Woman herself is in a contemplative pose, looking off into the distance wondering about....something, maybe why she hasn't been on the big screen yet!
Soon, I know.

Hope you like these images.
