every year during one summer night in july the people of my hometown ulm hop onto the so called „ulmer schachteln“. from these historical black and white colored boats they place thousands of tiny lights on the water of the danube & float down the river along the glowing water surface. thousands of others enjoy the spectacle from the river beds.
