The Subject Matter: Book cover design and series concept for the books by Ludmila Shtern. A series of three books about Brodsky, Dovlatov, and the autobiography of Ludmila Shtern. Since the characters of all three books emigrated from Leningrad to the USA at different times, the publisher suggested combining maps of the cities on the cover.
