Totoli – Application for children
Hi there,
Let me tell you about a project I've worked on as a freelance animator for the 9 months.
Totoli is a thoughtful app for children aged 3-5, created in collaboration with psychologists and educators. It offers play-based learning activities, audio stories and moderated content consumption.
Meet the main characters: a stork, a monkey, a lion, a hippo and an elephant. Each one represents one of the five key aspects of child development: cultural, cognitive, emotional, physical, and creative.
All these adorable characters were provided. Below are some examples of the animations I created.
An intro animation to start the application.
An intro animation to a memory matching game, where different playing modes can be selected.
To keep things visually interesting various resting states were included for the monkey character. So that it doesn't look too quiet and monotonous while the child is playing the activity. They change from time to time in a random order. And the last 6th state appears when everything is done correctly.
Animal subtle animation.
Animation of the elephant's forward movement, backward movement, and resting state. Right now he is walking backward.

I had a lot of fun working on this project!
