Logo and corporate identity for a Pet Food Manufacturer

About the client

Anima is a new brand that will produce food for cats and dogs of different ages and breeds.

Task

The client turned to Logomachine for a logo and corporate style that would help the brand penetrate the market. The design needed to be sustainable in the future since the company had not yet fully established its strategy.

Logo

We developed a logo with a classic design and a subtle vintage touch. Our client's priority was

to create a brand that exudes trust and is easily recognizable to consumers. It was important

for the client that the brand evokes trust and is understandable to the consumer, so we chose direct images — animal silhouettes. The concise and restrained graphics refer to traditionality: the logo will suit all directions of the company and create a feeling of a confident and strong brand with history.

For the typography, we used AdornS Serif, an antique-type font with gentle curves and soft edges. This way we successfully emphasized the graphic part and complemented the intended image, giving the logo the necessary classic mood. We also created a Cyrillic version of the logo based

on the same font.

Corporate style

The corporate style has a restrained and timeless aesthetic. We divided the food products into three categories: for cats, dogs, and therapeutic food. This division is partly conditional, as the range

of feed will be expanded in the future.

The primary font of the identity is Monserrat, a clear and recognizable grotesque typeface. Its easy readability ensures quick perception of information, as well as its memorability.

The corporate color palette consists of deep, noble shades of blue, red, and green that contrast well with soft beige, supporting the project's classic style.

A frame with rounded corners became the style-forming element. On one hand, it symbolizes

a smile, representing the brand's friendliness and openness. On the other hand, it creates a window for domestic animals to look out of, capturing the essence of the product. We demonstrated the brand's transparency by stating that Anima — known as "a window into the world of animals" —

is well-aware of the essential requirements for pets to sustain wellness and a dynamic way of living.
