&In the group exhibition @rema_incognita at Rematia theatre in Halandri, curated and organized by @Lea Peterou, with the group of works "Riziko III", I attempt an interpretation of the concept of threat. I perceive Nature as a shelter but also as a place of secret actions, as a place of chthonic forces. The organicity, decay, creaking, and shadows invite me. In my research, and always by the testimony of the local inhabitants, I was informed that the roots of the trees, when they are on the banks of the stream, usually contribute to the smooth flow of the water volume and to the avoidance of overflowing, while when there are in the riverbed, they can cause flooding, as they are usually trapping sediment. Thus, at the same time, the roots are both a blessing and a curse for the stream and its people; for everything in nature and life is a cycle.

Special thanks to the models: Iris Kollida & Magdalene Tsemperi.

** Riziko is a Greek word that one of its meanings is fate.
I had also installed a work in the stream water, below Polydrosou bridge, near Theatro Rematias at Halandri for @rema_incognita. After a sudden downpour, this project was lost. I walked all over the stream to find it but in vain. The girl was lost. For the unknown of the stream is also that: loss. The loss of lives, first and foremost. The other works in the exhibition space function as references to each other and form a group entitled "Riziko III".
Studying the root system of the stream also resulted in several small drawings, collages, photographs and videos that form my own mapping of the stream. Here are some small works, A5 size

@Lea Petrou in the rain, the curator and organizer of @Rema_Incognita exhibition.
The atmosphere created was unique and helped the concept of the whole attempt of Lea at the ravine.
