It's day 9 "at least one post a day" challenge ! I wanted to share my blue pen art back from 2022, I'm thinking of remaking it someday.

If you wish to recreate I suggest:
• using a thin paper that isn't high quality if you're a beginner
• art is about practice and making mistakes so don't be afraid of throwing out a few papers
• using a pencil that's on the harder side like most commonly used HB and using softer ones for details like B2
• references help understand how an object (in this case animal) presents itself, maintains balance etc.
• small bird with a black head and a prominent white cheek patch. The throat is black, extending as a stripe down towards the legs.
