The Dog Barber is a demo where you want to try various things using Rive. The idea was to create a site where access depends on completing some actions that have to do with the product. In this case, the idea is to use the scissors and the stick dryer for the necessary time to activate the access buttons.

Click on the scissor hand to start cutting the dog's hair.

The design is a mix of 3D and 2d Vectorial. The hands, the dog's body, and the chair are elements created in 3D, and the rest of the details, such as the dog's hair, the eyes, the collar, or the hair dryer, are vector elements created in Rive.

Each arm has a rig with controls to move it. In the dryer case, the rig affects the body and hair of the dog. This way, when you bring the dryer closer to the dog, the dog and the hair move.

Using the State Machine, I can activate different animations when moving the arms; for example, the hand starts to cut the hair when it is close to the head, and small pieces of hair fall to the ground.

Or when you click on the hand of the dryer, the dryer starts up, and the dog's hair moves. This animation and the dog's movement created by the rig give the sensation that the air pushes the dog.
