Indie Music Festival
Semester One Project for Billyblue College of Design
Task:
Create an A3 music festival poster within Adobe Illustrator - Using 3 Symbols and only two Pantones.
Outcome:
I have created an Indie Music poster which portrays the symbolic elements of Indie - Vinyls and Converse shoes.
I decided to create this poster with the idea of having all of these elements hanging from a powerline as it is also a past-time to through your shoes and have them hang from the powerlines.
The colour scheme chosen represents a contrasted division between the blue which is symbolic of the night sky and the orange which to be is a little 'out-there' and different, much like the Indie-Music scene is.
