FABBRICA ALTA

In the masterplan design of Fabbrica Alta, patterns from the works of Alighiero Boetti were chosen as the main concept and the organisation of the space was defined by creating a new pattern by superimposing these patterns. Also, as a representation of the old and new reflecting the traces of the cultural heritage, one of the prominent themes of the project, the vertical traces of the main facade were adapted to the plan and the users were offered the opportunity to experience this heritage. On the other hand, the multifunctional use designed in the main building was continued in the masterplan, and the flexible and open uses of each zone were designed. As a result, a strong communication with the context of the city was aimed and the harmony of old-new contrast was represented by supporting this goal with contemporary architectural interpretations.
